My class finally got our fate about what we will be doing our final year of pharmacy school. Overall, I'm pretty content with what I got, even though 3 of them are very hard, with one being with the guy that wrote the actual Pharmacotherapy book (the book that most pharmacy students around the nation study out of). With this signifies my last semester of being an actual 'college student' at UT Austin and my next step on becoming a health care professional. Next year will mainly consist of free labor, study, and some play :( Don't worry, I'll be up in the ATX every other weekend, if not every weekend! San Antonio here I come....Here are my rotation assignments for the 2007-2008 year: 1. Ambulatory Care at CVS Pharmacy 2. Managed Care at Caremark 3. Acute Family Practice Rotation at UT Medical Clinic 4. Drug Information Rotation at UTHSCSA 5. Critical Care/Infectious Diseases Rotation at the VA Hospital 6. Adult Internal Medicine with Dr. Talbert at University Hospital 7. Institutional Pharmacy Practice at Methodist Hospital Ah, I can smell the scent of my Pharm.D. I can finally see the light at the end of tunnel. |
